Many Armenian Citizens Express Sorrow Over Events in Armenia: Peskov
Many Armenian citizens in Russia express sorrow over the events occurring in Armenia. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, during an interview with Pavel Zarubin.
“Armenia is a country very close to us. Let’s not forget that several million Armenians are citizens of Russia. Of course, they are following the unfolding events with sadness, and many do not accept how things are developing,” Peskov noted.
He emphasized that what is happening in Armenia is an internal matter for the country, and Russia does not intend to intervene.
