Iran Bids Farewell to Martyrs of the 12-Day War
In Tehran today, over 60 martyrs of the Resistance are being honored, including commanders, scientists, women, and children. The farewell ceremony for the martyrs began at Revolution Square and has progressed to Freedom Square, symbolizing the unity of Iranians in the struggle against imperialism.
The President of Iran has attended the burial ceremony for the victims of the Zionist regime's attacks. According to the Iranian state television news service, the event taking place on the second day of Muharram in the capital will remain forever in the historical memory of the people.
The ceremony commenced a few hours ago with significant participation from the public. It began near the main entrance of Tehran University, a site that has long served as a starting point for youth uprisings, a place to bid farewell to the martyrs, and a sanctuary for noble ideas.
Today, the children of Iran—men and women, young and old—have gathered at Freedom Square with mourning but proud hearts to say their final goodbyes to the martyrs.
