EU Ambassador Discusses Visa Liberalization
The EU Ambassador to Armenia, Vassilis Maraghos, has announced that concrete efforts are underway with Armenian authorities to prepare an action plan for the liberalization of the visa regime between the EU and Armenia. According to the Ambassador, the dialogue regarding visa liberalization is currently in an active phase.
“It is very important to enhance resilience, empower society, and bring Armenia closer to Europe. I believe this issue is halfway resolved, and we are on the right path. The priorities include the liberalization of trade, protection of citizens’ rights, and addressing social sector challenges. We need to work in such a way that we can effectively manage this great commitment,” Vassilis Maraghos stated.
