Vladimir Putin Issues Statement

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that he is following the escalation of tensions in the Middle East with concern. This statement was made during a meeting with Bahrain's national security adviser, Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

“Unfortunately, our meeting today is taking place against the backdrop of rising tensions in your region. We are all watching what is happening there with concern. Probably, we will also talk about this,” said the state leader.

Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa is directly involved in his country's regional crisis. The escalation of tensions in the Middle East, which has arisen as a result of unprovoked strikes by Israel on Iranian territory, has complicated air transportation in the region. Nevertheless, Bahrain, by sending a high-ranking representative, emphasized the importance of its participation in the SPIEF and negotiations with Russia as one of the key global players.
