French Foreign Minister's Urgent Call to Citizens in Iran
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has issued a call to French citizens currently in Iran who wish to leave the country. The minister made this announcement via a post on his X microblog.
“Visa-free travel is possible to Armenia and Turkey, which have open borders. French citizens wishing to leave Iran should inform the French embassy in Iran as soon as possible,” Barrot wrote.
He added that those who have already communicated their desire to leave to the embassy and cannot reach the borders of Armenia or Turkey on their own will be transported in a convoy.
