Arthur Tovmasyan on Handing Samvel Karapetyan to Azerbaijan

The MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, Arthur Tovmasyan, considers the analysis by his former teammate, Azerbaijani studies expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan, to be "absolute nonsense," suggesting that businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan could be handed over to Azerbaijan. "There cannot even be a commentary on this," he stated during press briefings.

Another MP from the Civil Contract party, Vladimir Vardanyan, did not comment on his former colleague's statement. "I have never believed in conspiracy theories and I do not want anyone to believe in them either," said Vardanyan.

It should be noted that Samvel Karapetyan has faced charges for public calls to seize power.
