«No More Domping»: Nikol Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made another post on his Facebook page: “Considering the criticisms raised in the past, when speaking about corrupt high-ranking clergymen, I will exclusively use the vocabulary of the ‘Kanons of the Armenians’. The ‘Kanons of the Armenians’ is a collection of behavioral norms formed over centuries by the Armenian Apostolic Church. It is written there that a corrupt (arch)bishop, in this case, Archak the ‘Saint’, must be defrocked. I mean, it is written with those exact words in the collection of our Church’s rules. According to the definition in the ‘Kanons of the Armenians’, Archak the ‘Saint’ is corrupt. Let us await the response of Katritsh Nersisyan, so that we can also describe him solely in accordance with the definitions of the ‘Kanons of the Armenians’. No more domping,” Pashinyan wrote.
