Protests Spread from Los Angeles to Other U.S. Cities

Protests that began in Los Angeles have spread to other cities across the United States, including New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, according to BBC reports.

At the same time, a curfew has been imposed in Los Angeles, and arrests continue. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has established the curfew to counter looting and violence. The curfew will be in effect from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM local time for everyone except residents, journalists, and emergency services.
