Russia Urges Citizens to Leave Northern India
The Russian Embassy in New Delhi has advised Russian citizens to avoid visiting the northern territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh due to rising tensions in India-Pakistan relations. This was stated in a message on the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel.
In connection with the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the embassy strongly recommends refraining from visiting the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh unless there is extreme necessity.
The embassy has urged those Russians who are currently in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh to inform the diplomatic mission of their whereabouts and to leave the areas at the earliest possible opportunity.
