Unemployment Rate in Armenia
The newspaper "Jahangir" has presented the World Bank's "Monthly Economic Update for Armenia - April 2024" report.
"In the fourth quarter of 2024, the unemployment rate in Armenia was lower compared to previous quarters, but the annual rate reached 13.9%, which is higher than the 12.4% in 2023. This increase is attributed to rising unemployment in both urban and rural areas, affecting both women and men," the report states.
