Lawsuit Filed Over Migrants Deported from the US, Including Armenians
A group of human rights lawyers has filed a lawsuit against Costa Rica, as reported by the Associated Press. They argue that the country has violated the rights of dozens of migrant children held in a rural camp for nearly two months after being deported from the United States in February.
The children, some as young as two years old, are part of a larger group of hundreds of migrants deported from the US under the Trump administration's broader efforts to escalate deportations. It is noteworthy that among those deported were also citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.
