Yerevan and Baku Should Make a Joint Proposal: Russian Foreign Ministry
The Russian Foreign Ministry's official representative Maria Zakharova stated in a press briefing that it would be optimal for Yerevan and Baku to present a joint proposal regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group.
According to Zakharova, following the cessation of communication between the American and French co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the Russian co-chair in February 2022, and after Armenia recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan in Prague in October 2022, the Minsk Group has lost its relevance and should be dissolved. She added that Russia is ready to provide its platform for negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and for the signing of a peace treaty.
