Iran's Foreign Minister Urges Grossi
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), during their meeting to resist the pressures exerted by certain states. This was stated in a message published on the Telegram channel of Iran's Foreign Ministry.
Araghchi urged the agency to fulfill its obligations "without being subjected to undue pressure from certain countries." The minister reaffirmed "Iran's determination to continue engaging and cooperating with the IAEA within its international legal obligations" to address the situation surrounding its nuclear program.
The Foreign Minister also informed Grossi about the progress of negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
It is noted that on April 16, Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the IAEA, met and held negotiations with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the Iranian Foreign Ministry building in Tehran.
