Ukrainian Parliament Approves Extension of Martial Law
The Ukrainian Parliament has voted to extend martial law and mobilization in Ukraine. This was reported by popular deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak from the Holos party.
The legal regime will remain in effect for at least another 90 days. On April 15, the relevant bills were presented to the parliament by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
A total of 357 deputies voted in favor of extending martial law and mobilization, with only Oleksiy Honcharenko from the European Solidarity party voting against it.
This marks the 15th extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The measures will be in effect for 90 days, from May 9, 2025, to August 6, 2025.
