Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that a flight to Mars remains a complex problem that requires solutions to numerous questions. The announcement was made during his visit to Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Moscow.

Earlier, the country's leader had inquired whether it is possible to send a human to Mars and bring them back alive. Scientists, in response to this question, noted that precise predictions are not yet available. According to them, living cells can withstand the flight to the Red Planet, but it remains unknown how long they can exist there.
