Iran's Foreign Ministry Excludes Change in Negotiation Format with the US
The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, has ruled out the possibility of changing the negotiation format with the United States, stating that meetings will continue only through intermediaries, according to TASS.
"Direct negotiations are useless and ineffective in a situation where one party continues to resort to threats, so we will continue to use the same format that was chosen earlier," he said.
It is worth noting that on April 12, negotiations took place in Oman between representatives of Tehran and Washington aimed at resolving the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program.
