Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sets Deadline for Conflict Resolution
Kiev aims to end the conflict this year, stated Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sybiha during a speech at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, according to RIA Novosti.
“Ukraine wants peace. We want to finish this war this year,” said Sybiha.
Additionally, Russian President Vladimir Putin previously announced that the goal of resolving the conflict in Ukraine should not be a temporary ceasefire or a break for regrouping and rearming with the aim of continuing the conflict, but rather long-term peace.
“The Russian authorities will continue to fight for the interests of the Russian people, this is the essence of the special operation. Peace in Ukraine should be based on respect for the legitimate interests of all people, all nations living in this region,” stated the Russian president.
