Azerbaijan's Principled Position is Clear: Bayramov
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister reiterated the preconditions for signing a peace treaty during discussions with partners from Armenia and Georgia at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
“Last month, the parties finalized the text of the peace treaty, which we consider a significant development. Regarding the subsequent steps that need to be taken to finalize this process and sign the treaty, Azerbaijan's principled position is clear, of which our Armenian partners are well aware. The discussion primarily centers around the dissolution of the ineffective Minsk Group, as well as the necessary amendments to be made in Armenia's Constitution to put an end to the claims included therein against Azerbaijan. We are confident that if these necessary steps are taken, there will be no additional obstacles to signing the peace treaty, establishing interstate relations, and achieving peace,” Bayramov stated.
