Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Responds to Georgia's Statement
The Georgian side regularly presents ideas aimed at finding avenues for cooperation. This was stated by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
Recently, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that small steps need to be taken towards building trust and that they are ready for this. According to him, several such initiatives have recently been proposed to Baku by Georgian partners, to which Azerbaijan has responded positively and is awaiting the position of the Armenian side.
"Armenia highly appreciates the efforts of the Georgian side and is ready to discuss possible ideas with a constructive approach," said Badalyan.
At the same time, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia emphasized that in the case of agreements on specific initiatives, they will certainly inform the public.
