Broadcasting of Foreign Channels in Public Multiplex Will Be Banned - Hakobyan
No foreign broadcasters should be included in the public multiplex. This was announced by Tigran Hakobyan, the head of the Armenian Commission on Television and Radio, during a press conference.
“Recent incidents show that we are right, and this gap must be filled by law. Foreign television companies should not broadcast in the public multiplex,” said Hakobyan.
He also added that they are closely monitoring the broadcasts of foreign television companies and any violations will be recorded. “If foreign broadcasters violate Armenian legislation, their broadcasting in the public multiplex will be banned,” Hakobyan further noted.
