U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vence believes that the people of Greenland wish to be independent from Denmark, and that discussions regarding the island's relationship with the United States can take place after separating from the Kingdom. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“I think they want to be independent from Denmark. Once they do that, we can talk about what their relationship with the United States will look like,” Vence stated in an interview with Newsmax.
