Hajizade Accuses Armenia Again
The spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aykhan Hajizade, has accused the Armenian side of providing "inaccurate maps of mined areas" to Baku. He stated that the accuracy of these maps is only 25 percent.
Hajizade emphasized that more than 55% of the recent mine explosions have occurred in areas that are not included in the maps provided by Yerevan.
The ministry representative noted that "after international pressure, Armenia provided some maps, but they only covered a small portion of the mined areas." Hajizade stated that the maps indicate the deployment of about 400,000 mines in Azerbaijani territory, while in reality, their number is approaching 1.5 million.
