Georgian President to Visit Azerbaijan Before Armenia
The newly elected sixth President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, representing the 'Georgian Dream' party, is set to visit Azerbaijan in mid-April, followed by a visit to Armenia. This was reported by Aliq.ge.
According to information released by his advisor on international relations, Luka Exavaian, these planned visits have been confirmed. Irakli Kobakhidze, the leader of 'Georgian Dream', has also visited these two countries ahead of the 2024 elections. On March 20, he was in Yerevan, attending the Armenia-Georgia football match.
It is worth noting that Armenia and Azerbaijan were among the few countries that congratulated Mikheil Saakashvili on his election as president.
