Hovik Akhazaryan Summoned by Anti-Corruption Committee
Former MP Hovik Akhazaryan has been summoned to the Anti-Corruption Committee at 18:00 to face charges. This has been reported by ArmLur.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, the National Assembly removed Hovik Akhazaryan's parliamentary immunity. A total of 65 MPs voted in favor of lifting the immunity, while 2 voted against it.
During the National Assembly session on March 26, the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, submitted a request to initiate criminal proceedings against Hovik Akhazaryan on two counts.
