European Countries Do Not Seek Peace: Peskov
The desire of European countries to lift sanctions from Moscow indicates that they do not want peace. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, while responding to a question about whether the EU's position would hinder the grain renewal deal.
“An inseparable part of the Black Sea initiative is the lifting of sanctions against our banking institution, which deals with settlements related to agricultural products. The essence of these restrictions is very clear. If European countries do not want to go down that path, it means they do not want to go down the path of peace and do not want to contribute and operate in accordance with the efforts made by Moscow and Washington to achieve a peaceful resolution,” he noted.
