Every Concession You Make, Just to Ask for a Piece of Paper That Says Peace. Khachaturyan

We say that we should legally demand the government to pay pensioners this much money, and they say, well, it's written in the program. What will happen if the program is not executed? This was stated by Arthur Khachaturyan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary group ‘Hayastan’.

“You will go and say, we promised this, we promised that, we promised peace. For this reason, now you are making every concession just to ask for a piece of paper that says 'peace.' You say that 2024 has been peaceful, there have been fewer gunshots. You have given whatever they wanted, why would they take it forcefully?” Khachaturyan noted.

It is proposed to set the minimum pension amount starting from January 1, 2026, so that it does not fall below the monthly cost of the food basket, and the average working pension should not be less than the monthly cost of the consumer basket.
