Putin Has Not Changed Order: Peskov
Vladimir Putin has not changed the order not to strike energy infrastructure, despite violations by the Ukrainian armed forces. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“The USA has the opportunity to monitor the situation that arose due to the fact that numerous agreements were violated by Ukraine. After the violations by the Ukrainian armed forces, the Russian president stated that he would not change the order to not strike energy infrastructure,” said Peskov.
Peskov also added that the Kremlin views the attacks by Ukrainian military on energy facilities in Kuban as sabotage of agreements. “The information about canceling strikes on energy facilities was already widely known, and the Ukrainian authorities did nothing to cancel the attacks on Russian territories. Such behavior contradicts the efforts aimed at a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict,” the Russian press secretary noted.
