Deputy Foreign Minister Comments on Russia's Involvement in Peace Agreement
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Paruir Hovhannisyan, stated that the possibility of Russia's participation in negotiations over the peace agreement has always existed. "Russia has been involved previously as well; recently we have had consultations with Russia. We respond to and hold discussions with all partners that can contribute to this process," he noted.
The Deputy Minister added that there have been no consultations with Russian partners for about 1.5 years. "After the meeting of the foreign ministers, an agreement was reached to continue the consultations, and that has taken place," he mentioned.
