Iran Has That Right: Peskov
Iran, like all countries, has the right to develop peaceful nuclear energy. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
“Iran, like all other countries, has the right to develop the peaceful nuclear sector, peaceful atomic energy in its territory,” Peskov said in response to a question about Moscow's reaction on the subject.
It is worth noting that the day before, the Axios portal, citing sources, reported that U.S. President Donald Trump had set a two-month timeframe for the signing of a new nuclear agreement in a letter addressed to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In response, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iranian authorities would soon respond to U.S. President Donald Trump's letter to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
