Biden Wants to Return to Politics
Former U.S. President Joe Biden has told several members of the Democratic Party that he wishes to return to politics by fundraising and holding events to support them. This was reported by NBC News citing its sources.
According to sources, Biden had a private conversation last month with the new chair of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin, and offered his assistance at a time when the party is trying to regain its viability amid polls showing its diminishing popularity.
It is noted that Democrats have not yet shown interest in Biden's offer. However, they may agree due to issues related to party leadership and a lack of strong leaders.
