Russian Armed Forces Down Own Drones Following Putin’s Order
Russian military personnel have shot down their own drones following an order from President Putin, which involved targeting energy facilities related to the defense-industrial complex in the Mykolaiv region. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry clarified that after a conversation between President Putin and Donald Trump, the President instructed to cease strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. At that moment, seven drones were in the air, all of which were successfully intercepted by Russian air defense forces. Six of the drones were downed by the 'Pantsir' system, while one was destroyed by a fighter jet.
