No Backtrack on Armenia's EU Membership Project: Simonian
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, has stated that there is no backtracking on the project regarding Armenia's membership in the EU. “It’s a technical issue. There is nothing. It has already been adopted in the first reading. There is a global perception that we have already accepted it, but we are saying, 'No, there is still a second reading,'” he said.
It is noteworthy that the project was not included in the agenda during the previous session, leading to discussions in various circles about the government's alleged backtrack on this matter.
