The U.S. Receives Positive Response from Russia, Trump Says

U.S. and Russian officials had positive negotiations regarding Ukraine on Friday, said U.S. President Donald Trump.

“There have been good negotiations between the U.S. and Russia, and the communications with Ukraine are also positive,” he stated during a speech at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Trump noted that the U.S. has received a “positive response from Russia” concerning a ceasefire in Ukraine. He emphasized that the Ukrainian settlement is a complex issue, but he believes it can be resolved.
