Iran and the US Begin Negotiations on Nuclear Program, Says Araqchi
Tehran and Washington are engaged in diplomatic communications and discussing the issue of Iran's nuclear program through intermediaries, stated Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, in an interview with the Iran newspaper.
According to him, in addition to the mediated negotiations, there are communications with the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
Meanwhile, Iran's Foreign Minister emphasized that Tehran is not prepared to enter negotiations with the Americans under pressure. "If we start negotiations with the US under the conditions of 'maximum pressure' imposed from the other side, it would mean that we are entering the negotiation process from weak positions from the outset," Araqchi noted.
