Whom Did Orbán Call the Future President of France?
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with Marine Le Pen, the leader of the right-wing "National Rally" group in the French Parliament, after negotiations with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Le Pen referred to Orbán as the future leader of the state.
“After meeting with former and current presidents of France, it was pleasant to meet the future president. Thank you for a meaningful debate,” Orbán wrote on X.
It is noteworthy that ahead of the EU summit, Orbán had discussions with Macron in Paris. According to Hungary's Prime Minister, the main topic was the EU's support for Ukraine in the context of the cessation of American military aid to Kyiv.
