Trump's Actions Signal Alarming Concerns, Says Turkey's Foreign Minister
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has visited London, where he discussed with European counterparts their responses to Ukraine, as well as the potential for a Russia-Ukraine ceasefire and Trump's efforts.
"Even if President Trump decides not to withdraw from Europe, it is entirely possible that someone with similar views and political ideas may consider the option of reducing America's commitment to European security in the future," he stated.
Fidan noted that the actions of the U.S. President send alarming signals to everyone and added that Turkey would like to be part of any new architecture of European security if NATO were to collapse.
