It Won't Happen Until Zelensky Offers a Public Apology
The United States sees no opportunity for progress in negotiations regarding agreements on rare metals with Kyiv until Vladimir Zelensky offers a public apology for his behavior during a meeting with President Donald Trump in the White House. This was reported by Fox News, citing a senior White House official.
“A senior administration official told us that there will be no movement on the deal until Zelensky clearly offers an apology in front of cameras for his behavior in the Oval Office,” the report stated.
Zelensky, who is currently in Europe, had previously declined to take responsibility for the recent dispute at the White House and stated that he still hopes to reach an agreement with the United States.
