Zelensky Posts After Tense Talks with Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made a statement following his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you Donald Trump, Congress, and the American people. Ukraine needs a just and sustainable peace, and we are working towards that,” he noted.
It is worth recalling that the Zelensky-Trump meeting took place in a tense atmosphere, with a confrontation arising when Zelensky interrupted Trump and began to counter him, which also angered U.S. Vice President Pence.
