Employees of Yerevan Municipality Arrested: Kostanyan

Dear colleagues, I would like to inform you that employees of the Yerevan Municipality have been arrested. The municipality is cooperating with law enforcement agencies to support the procedures established by law. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Mayor of Yerevan, Haik Kostanyan.

"For additional information, you can contact the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia," the message states.

Marina Ohanyan, the spokesperson for the president of the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia, told Tert.am in a conversation: "Investigative actions are being carried out at the municipality as part of an ongoing criminal case. There are arrested individuals, including from the municipality. We cannot provide further details at this time due to the interests of the preliminary investigation," she noted.
