Tense Situation in Tbilisi
There is renewed turmoil in Tbilisi, as the police are arresting supporters of the opposition who previously blocked the road near the Tbilisi Mall shopping center.
According to Sputnik Georgia, the police had earlier removed the protesters from the international road. However, the protesters continued to clash with the police, attempting to block the entire road.
Massive protests erupted last year after the Georgian authorities announced the suspension of the EU membership process.
In the video, protesters are seen trying to regroup and move to the opposite side of the Tbilisi Mall to block traffic.
