Boycott Gains Momentum Starting Tomorrow: Hayk Marutyan
Boycott gains momentum starting tomorrow as students and workers join us. This was announced by former Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan.
“Dear working people and beloved students, starting tomorrow you will pay for the expensive transportation for the first time. Let’s establish that thanks to our collective struggle, when the authorities wanted to set the price for a ticket at 300 drams, today they want it at 150 drams. However, this is not a market where you can say it’s 300 drams, then drop it to 150 drams and everyone will be satisfied. Starting tomorrow, our boycott is gaining significant momentum as students and workers join us. We’re paying 100 drams and boarding,” he stated.
