Putin Highlights Condition for the Development of the Armenian Railway

Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed the management of the Armenian Railway by the South Caucasus Railway. He stated, 'As for the railway, we are leasing it, to put it bluntly. Investments in such infrastructure depend on the volume of traffic. If there is no traffic volume, there will be no investments, and there will be no development. God willing, when the military operations and the situation related to the war come to an end, perhaps everything will be arranged differently. The border with Turkey will open, and in other directions, freight transportation can increase. If that happens, then everyone can make those investments, including Russia.'
