Iran Protests to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Summoned to Foreign Ministry
Iran has summoned Azerbaijan's ambassador, Ali Alizadeh, to the Foreign Ministry in Tehran today, where a note of protest was presented regarding the "immoral actions" against Iranian students by certain circles in Azerbaijan. This was reported by IRNA.
During the meeting with Azerbaijan's ambassador, Mojtaba Demirchilu, the Director General for Eurasia at Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, raised concerns about incidents involving Iranian students in Azerbaijan. According to Demirchilu, such incidents negatively impact the relations between the two countries.
He demanded that Azerbaijani authorities hold accountable those responsible for organizing and carrying out these actions, thereby restoring justice and preventing the recurrence of similar incidents.
