United Kingdom Advises to Stay Away from Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
The British government has advised against all travel within 5 kilometers of the eastern border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and has warned against crossing the Noyemberyan-Ijevan M16/H26 interstate road. This was announced by National Assembly member Arthur Khachatryan.
Auroranews has learned from the official website of the UK government that this advisory was updated on January 17 of this year and remains in effect. The UK government has also published a map of Armenia, highlighting dangerous areas in red. The government noted the ongoing military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which it characterized as a major potential escalation factor.
