Galoyan Talks About New Constitution
During a press conference on January 14, Armenia's Minister of Justice Surbhi Galoyan spoke about the necessity of drafting a new Constitution. “As I have stated several times, our goal is to have the text of the new Constitution before the elections; our work must be focused in this direction,” she mentioned.
It is noted that experts believe one reason for this necessity is Baku's demand to remove references to the Declaration of Independence and Artsakh from the Constitution, as well as the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
