Iran's Foreign Ministry: South Caucasus is Very Important for Us Regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan
Iran's relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan are crucial, and the South Caucasus is very important to us, stated Esmail Baghaei, the official representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry.
"We are utilizing all possibilities and capabilities to maintain security and stability in this region," he emphasized.
Baghaei also referenced the recent visits of Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, to Armenia and Azerbaijan, noting that these were preplanned.
"We believe that security in this region should be ensured by the countries of the region, without the intervention of other countries," he added.
