Tokayev on the 'Black Boxes' of the Crashed Azerbaijani Aircraft

The decision to send the 'black boxes' of the crashed Azerbaijani aircraft in Kazakhstan to Brazil for decoding was the right one. This was stated by Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“A governmental commission has been established to investigate the causes of the aircraft's crash. Additionally, 17 international experts have been invited. The commission has decided to send the black boxes to Brazil for decoding since that is where the aircraft was manufactured. I am confident that this is the only correct decision to ensure the objectivity and impartiality of the investigation,” said Tokayev.

It is noteworthy that the aircraft, which was traveling from Baku to Grozny, crashed on December 25 in Kazakh territory, resulting in 38 fatalities and 29 injuries.
