Major Chain Reaction Accident in Ararat Region
A major chain reaction accident occurred today on the Yerevan-Eraskh highway. This was reported to Auroranews by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan.
According to preliminary information, dozens of vehicles were involved in the accident due to poor weather conditions and black ice. Initial reports indicate there is one fatality and several injuries. The details are currently being verified. Rescuers and police are on site conducting operations.
According to shamshyan.com, around 08:00 AM today, 12 vehicles collided over a stretch of 2-3 kilometers near the Masis-Marmarashen section of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway. There was fog on the road, resulting in 1 death and 5 injuries.
