Iran Granted Observer Status in EEU
The leaders of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) have decided to grant Iran observer status in the union during a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council.
"During the meeting, the leaders of EEU countries made a decision to grant Iran the status of an EEU observer state in order to strengthen ties with the Iranian market," the announcement from the Russian Ministry of Economic Development cited the Russian leader as saying.
