It Was a Major Mistake by Armenia: CSTO Secretary General
Suspending its membership in the CSTO was a major mistake for Armenia. Yerevan has always received significant assistance from Moscow and the organization’s member states, said Nikolai Bordyuzha, who served as CSTO Secretary General from 2003 to 2016, in an interview with TASS.
It is noteworthy that Armenia has announced the suspension of its membership in the CSTO and is not participating in the organization’s events and exercises.
Additionally, Bordyuzha commented that Ukraine has never been invited to the Collective Security Treaty Organization, noting that since 1991, the orientation of Kyiv's authorities has been towards the West, leading to the plundering of the country's wealth.
